CNC Estimator

Our Precision Machining Client located in the Northwest suburbs of Illinois has a permanent 1st shift employment opportunity for an experienced Estimator. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of two years previous experience estimating CNC Lathe equipment (CNC Swiss experience is highly desired but not required.) This full time position also requires a knowledge and understanding of blue prints and specifications, GD&T, metals, and an understanding of operation and work flow procedures in an ISO9001:2000 environment. Duties consist of determining if machinable, cycle times, tooling availability, packaging/material handling requirements, and inspection and gauging needs. Additional responsibilities include obtaining sub-contracting quotes as needed and consulting with raw material purchasing for material costs and trends.
